We are currently cooperating with a group of students of civil engineering from AAU, that is studying Operations and Supply Chain Management. Axacon supplies the data and information and is available for consulting the next generation and in exchange we receive a unique opportunity to get a thorough analysis of our data and methods. The students from Aalborg University are sparring with our consultants and learning to understand Axacon's business before they begin their comprehensive analysis.
The results will help improve our business process and help our work in analytics to find patterns that can help the further development of our business. It's a mutually beneficial relationship where the students get access to huge amounts of data from the real world and Axacon gets analysis models of big data from students at one of the best universities.
Logistics and WMS Consultant Selim Esen of Axacon is very satisfied with the cooperation.
”It's very good for us. We get some of the most recent knowledge on the market. They are up to date on what is important and works well in our business at this moment. I have tried to be part of a project like this myself as a student, and it creates a lot of value for both parties, says Selim Esen, who also holds his degree in Operations and Supply Chain Management.
In a report from the American university MIT, Aalborg University's engineering department was ranked as the best in Europe and the fourth-best in the world. The university is already known in Denmark to be in touch with the latest research, making it a strong partner for Axacon.
